Managing Partner
Todd brings 30+ years of horticultural and multi-industry business experience, including over 12 years of working as a talent acquisition and management consultant. Todd is leading our Hydroponic/Cannabis and C-Level Retained Executive Search in addition to our Human Resource Advisory sectors. This includes: Succession Planning, Retention Strategies and Organizational Development.
Joni Downing

Joni brings 30+ years of business and project management experience, including over 20 years supporting the growth of the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Network. Joni is instrumental in client relations, working with premier candidates in our targeted industries, while providing project management, administrative and Business Advisory support.

Senior Human Capital Advisor
Michael brings over 20 years of experience including management, human resources, talent acquisition, project management, and owner/operator. Michael has significant experience within the Restructuring & Crisis Management, Packaging & Containers, Manufacturing and Retail industries and specializes in Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, and Engineering roles. As a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources, Michael developed our WR2 HR Analysis and leads our HR Advisory Services.
Nancy Hintz
Senior Human Capital Advisor
Nancy has over two decades of diverse experience in chemical, biotechnology, manufacturing and non-profit industries. This broad base of knowledge helps her serve an array of clients in identifying top executive leadership. According to Nancy, "Clients need more than just candidates. They need solutions. I strive to help my clients identify the right solutions by listening to their needs, utilizing behavioral-based assessments and asking the right questions."
Ben Molenda
Human Capital Advisor
Ben first joined BEST as a Junior Advisor (intern) in early May 2018 and since then has been promoted to a Human Capital Advisor position. Ben completed his studies at Indiana University in December 2018. Since joining us, Ben has been involved in recruiting, business analysis, client intake, candidate assessments and pre-and post-screening and has also written for the BEST Blog. Bringing a strong work ethic and millennial perspective to BEST, Ben continues to be a strong contributor and has a bright future.
